You wouldn't believe who I met at the show! I was so excited when I saw her name posted as one of the vendors for the show. I got to meet Joan Miller of Joan Miller Porcelain. If you haven't seen her work please head over to her Etsy shop and take a look. The detail of her pieces will blow you away. I fell in love with a Dragonfly focal of Joan's and she was so gracious as to trade beads with me. This is the beautiful piece I received.
Can you believe the details! I love my dragonflies!
I worked on some new things this week for the Etsy shop. I had several special orders I had to finish this week so I worked on those first. Here are some new things I posted.
This was a special set for a customer which has sold but I can make more as a special order. I do have another acorn currently listed on Etsy. I had a pair of the Sahara beads listed but those sold.
Sand Dollar Set
This is a Regaliz Leather bead called Aztec Treasures.
These are large hole slider beads. I like to use these to slide over finished Viking Knit bracelets or necklaces. The work great as links, over thick leather, ribbon, etc. The hole is approx. 7mm
I had some customers come into the studio during the season looking for beads to fit through their own hoops. The bead used for the Pandora Style beads was a little too big and heavy to use so I came up with these little bead sets to embellish your own hoops. I call them "HOOP LOOPS". I'll have different colors and styles posted on Etsy. Here are just a couple of the colors.
This was a special order for one of my wonderful Etsy customers this week. I don't do much encasing these days but I do love how they turned out.

ReplyDeleteI love her large, colorful, polymer clay beads! I really want one of her fishes, but they sell fast!
Wow! That dragonfly bead is stunning! I love seeing all your wonderful creativity, and I think I need to put some of those on my wish list! I was lucky enough to participate in this month's AJE challenge, so I received a button charm from Diana of Suburban Girl Studio. Her work is exquisite, and her attention to detail matches yours. Have a wonderful weekend!
