I've been working this week on new lampwork beads and bead sets. I've pulled out some 22k gold and silver leaf sheets to layer on to the glass. I love some of the special effects you can achieve with the leaf. Of course I had to make some of my crusty beads as well. Here are some of the sets I posted yesterday.
Following are also some ceramic beads I posted last week. I'm working on some of my favorites from this batch this week to have available next week since they sold pretty quickly. Thank you!
While Bear was recovering this week I took some time to make some jewelry for Gentle Wind Designs on Etsy. I made some patina pieces a while back that I wanted to make something Boho inspired and also some earrings with some birdie plates I etched and hadn't decided which headpins I wanted to add to them. On the subject of Birdies, I purchased these really cute bracelet connectors from Aunties Beads the other day and I Love them!
I added some of my ceramic beads and one of my little ceramic purple hearts to Aunties connector.
A little Boho Chic with my patinated metal plates
I made these with the same patina technique and added some of my lampwork beads and some new Greek wavy spacers and chips that I now carry in the shop.
Love how these little birdies turned out. I added some new lampwork headpins to these.
One more Boho Chic design.
Some new lampwork bead sets I listed on Etsy this week.
Bear's surgery went well yesterday. He had two large stones removed. The little guy is a real trooper. He's hardly complained at all and slept most of the night. I would like to thank each and every one of you that contacted me and wished him well. The sale at Havana Beads was a success and my family and I are very grateful. Here's my little boy taking a nap this morning.
