SALE ON ETSY

A couple of customers have asked if I'll be having a 4th of July sale this year.  I have a show I'm working on so I thought I'd have the sale after the show.  I have some one of a kind pieces listed on Etsy that I think some of my customers would like and might be gone after the show so I decided to have a two day sale this weekend.  This way I can send any packages out on Monday and concentrate on filling my trays for next weekends show.  If there's something you've been eyeing in my shop head over to Havana Beads and type in coupon code JULY42012 when checking out for your 15% discount.

BLOG HOP PARTNER/NEW BEADS

My partner for the next blog hop is the very talented Sharon Driscoll of Right Turn Artwerks.  Sharon is a lampwork and ceramic artist.  Our reveal is July 28th.  We communicated during the weekend to get a feel for what we like and not. I have to tell you it's difficult to make lampwork beads for someone as talented as Sharon but I will try to make something original that she can enjoy working with.  I will post pictures of my beads as soon as I finish them and Sharon has received them.

Some new goodies on Etsy.  I'm trying to make new beads to post on Etsy while stocking my trays for another bead show next week in Palm Beach Gardens.  I will be attending the Down the Street Bead Show next week on Friday, July 6 - Sunday July 8th.  I'll post more info. next week on the show.

BEAD TRENDS MAGAZINE - JUNE 2012

This month's issue of Bead Trends magazine is filled with beautiful inspiration jewelry!  I was lucky enough to have two of my lampwork necklace and earring sets featured in this issue.  You can find "Pure Romance" on page 44-45 and "Summer Splash" on page 64-65.  My friend Cherrie Fick has a beautiful inspirational necklace on pages 94-95, Take Time to Laugh.  Erin Strother has a pair of earrings called "Primitive Funk" that are really fun. Kristy Abner, Amanda  Cargill and Penny Neville also have beautiful designs that caught my eye at first glance.  If I keep going I'll have to name everyone in this issue. This is really an inspirational issue.

NEW GOODIES ON ETSY

I spent half of my week doing lampwork, mostly early in the morning when it's not so hot, and the other half in the afternoons making clay beads.  I got a lot of work done this week.  Yesterday I took lots of pictures and posted them on Etsy.  Here are some pictures.

I bought a two hole mandrel and made a couple of little botton beads last week.  These are really fun to make.

NEW GOODIES ON ETSY

I usually get a little rest after a big show, but this time I had several special orders from online customers and show customers I had to get to after the show.  I spent the week putting everything back in its place in the studio and making my special orders.  I'm not complaining, I like to stay busy, having work these days is a blessing!  I had some time yesterday after all the rain last week to take some pictures of the beads I made and posted them on Etsy.  Here they are.

Believe it or not I still have more beads to photograph!  I ran out of sun so I'll try to take some more today if the sun comes out.  Visit me next week for this months giveaway.
